The T1. How we built a 99-gram glove without taking anything away

Every goalkeeper glove is a negotiation. Lighter usually means less protection. Tighter usually means less comfort. More grip usually means a palm that dies in six weeks.

The T1 started with a simple question. What if we stopped negotiating?

The answer weighs 99 grams.

A glove that weighs almost nothing

99 grams per glove, in size 9. That is the number people ask about first, and it is the right place to start.

But the weight is not the achievement. Plenty of gloves are light because something was taken out. A thinner backhand, less foam, no protection where the ball actually hits.

The T1 keeps 3 mm of injected silicone foam across the entire backhand. Not a pad in one corner. The whole surface.

So the question was never how to make it light. It was how to make it light without taking anything away.

That answer starts on the back of the hand.

KNIT CR. The thread that changes everything

Most knit backhands have the same two problems. They drink water, and they give up.

They drink water in the rain, so the glove gets heavier as the match goes on. And they give up over the season, softening and losing their shape until the fit you bought in September is not the fit you have in March.

KNIT CR was engineered to fix both.

Every fiber is woven in a cross pattern that locks elasticity permanently into the material. That gives it 4-way stretch, so the glove moves with your hand instead of against it. And because the elasticity lives in the structure, not in a coating, it does not break down.

No waterlogging. No stiffness over time.

It is also ultra-soft against the skin, breathable, and carries full UV protection. Things you stop noticing after the first training session, which is exactly the point.

A palm that reaches further

Turn the glove over and you find Ultra G Tech, the Elite Sport latex that runs through the whole Prime Pro family. A 4 mm palm built around one idea: grip that is still there in week eight, not just in week one.

On the T1 it comes in its most advanced form. Ultra G Tech Extended.

The compound is the same. The geometry is not. The palm reaches further toward the wrist than a conventional palm does.

That sounds like a small change until you think about where the ball actually lands. The low shot you smother. The deflection off the heel of the hand. The catch that sits deeper in the glove than you planned.

More latex in those places means more of those saves stay in your hands.

Negative 2.0. A second skin, for real this time

Goalkeepers have been told for years that their gloves feel like a second skin. Most of them do not.

The negative cut was the first real step. Seams on the inside, latex wrapped directly around the finger, less material between you and the ball.

Negative 2.0 takes the idea further. It wraps every finger tighter than any previous generation, so there is no dead space between finger and latex. You stop feeling the glove and start feeling the ball.

It is deliberately tight. That is the point, and it is also a preference. A goalkeeper who likes a roomier fit will feel the difference immediately, in one direction or the other.

The strap problem we finally fixed

Every goalkeeper knows this one.

You prefer to play without the strap, so you take it off. And the velcro flap just sits there. Exposed, loose, catching on everything, doing nothing.

For years the choice was simple and bad. Wear a strap you do not want, or live with a flap you do not need.

FPMS ends that choice. Fit Precision Modular System.

The traditional velcro closure is replaced by a precision elastic band. Keep the strap on and you get full locked-in support. Take it off and you get complete freedom of movement.

Either way, the panel tucks clean against the wrist. No flap. No compromise.

Who the T1 is for

The T1 sits at the top of Prime Pro, the Elite Sport line for goalkeepers who live between the posts. It is built for the keeper who trains several times a week and wants maximum feel on the ball.

If you are just starting out, or you prefer a looser fit, it is probably not your first glove. A wider cut and a more forgiving palm will serve you better while you find your game. The glove finder can point you to the right family in a couple of minutes.
